Not to avoid the feelings. That will manifest in some health challenges.
Learn to feel the feelings.
Say it is Ok to feel low. Just quickly find our where it shows up in your body. For me is in the center of the chest
Then I say hmm. I will breath into this uneasy sensation.
That makes me physiology better
Then I ask my brain what is the one responsible action I can do right now to stop feeling low and move towards my goal
The answer may be
Hey turn on the computer to open that document to write.
Pick up the phone to call the client
Now you are in action mode.
My experience reveals that this system works every time
It enriches my emotional, mental and physical well-being
