My Insights on “Writing”
When I request my clients to write their Start My Day (SMD) list, Thoughts and Feelings On Paper (TFOP), Gratitude Journal (GJ), I get these reasons “ I don’t get time.”,” I can remember well and there is no need to write”, “ It is a waste of time”. “ It is boring”. Etc… I can understand and can relate to it and I too questioned my mentors like Michael Clouse, Jim Rohn, Mark Joyner, Kendall Summerhawk
I gave myself permission to go beyond these self limiting statements into testing the possibilities. Here are my insights:
SMD is truly liberating. I brain dump every nagging task like keep trash outside, clean bathroom, paying bills, calling a friend, and following up with clients. I do it for 10-15 minutes first thing in the morning. I won’t go into details. I realized that my M-Mind part of BEMERI model was clear like transferring from conscious mind (hard drive) to subconscious mind ( Universe)
TFOP helped me in being brutally honest with what I am thinking and how I am feeling. It was liberating. It brought me into the present moment. It made me feel powerful to take the next step boldly and beautifully in a calm and centered manner. In other words, great collaboration between my mammalian and neocortex parts of the brain.
GJ is huge. I thank God for every small thing, event or action regardless of past, present and future. It helped me feel abundant, think positive thoughts, and be compassionate. More importantly I found great health benefits like good sleep, consciously choosing healthy food, better digestion, organically exercising and feeling energized, from doing this.
I invite you to give yourself permission to try and record your observations. Have a fantastic day.
