Wonderful story. I have to say this. Only if we know darkness, can we appreciate light. We can look consciously for light even in dark spaces. In the same way for a person who has gone through roller coaster ride of slavery and freedom in several ways/domains in different countries, he/she can clearly look for freedom and choose to be free in the situations feeling like slavery.
